This book is definitely not for those with highbrow tastes.
But for a quick laugh, please don’t begrudge your kids this book!
Yes, it’s potty humor. It’s silly and not at all realistic.
But it is funny, and has a nice little point about nonconformity.
I loved the sign on the school wall shown in one of the pictures:
“MINDLESS CONFORMITY: It’s cool! It’s fun! Be Just Like
Everybody Else! Individuality Causes Pain!” Underneath the
words was a picture of two identical broadly smiling faces. Most
schools don’t deliver that message quite so blatantly, do they?
