The idea behind this book seems perfectly appropriate for Bob Hope’s
100th birthday. Instead of a standard biography, this is a chronological
selection of jokes he’s used down through the years. I admit,
most of the jokes were probably funnier in the time for which they were
written. I found the ones most amusing that were actually written
in my lifetime (a minority). However, it’s a nice twist on the typical
autobiography, and seemed especially fitting in this case.
