As I look at them, it dawns on me that even though, intellectually, I know that the world was the same then as now, in my heart it&#8217;s almost as if I believe Calvin&#8217;s Dad and think that everything used to be black and white.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, this recently struck me about some other photos &#8212; when a friend posted pictures from his trip to Dachau, it struck me that I wasn&#8217;t used to thinking of Concentration Camps in anything but black and white.  It seems to be the same with old pictures.
