That time of the week when I play with language by looking at the German translation of children&#8217;s books.<\/p>\n<p>Today it&#8217;s back to the book that prompted the creation of Sonderling Sunday, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/blog\/?cat=174\">Der Orden der Seltsamen Sonderlinge<\/a><\/em>, known in English as <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sonderbooks.com\/Teens\/order_of_odd_fish.html\">The Order of Odd-Fish<\/a>,<\/em> by <a href=\"http:\/\/jameskennedy.com\/\">James Kennedy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Sonderlinge-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Sonderlinge-2.jpg\" alt=\"Sonderlinge 2\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-31090\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Sonderlinge-2.jpg 400w, https:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Sonderlinge-2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/blog\/?p=30821\">Last time<\/a>, we left off on page 280, <em>Seite 355 auf Deutsch,<\/em> with Jo working in the library.<\/p>\n<p>I like beginning with the first sentence of a section.
