This book is SO FAB! Why, oh why, has no one ever before written a book about how beautiful life is if you are goldfish in a child\u2019s aquarium? This is a needed niche \u2013 any child with a fish will love it \u2013 and on top of that, the story is tremendous fun to read aloud, with bright, colorful pictures. It\u2019s got enthusiastic language and plenty of onomatopoeia.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how the book begins:<\/p>\n

Henny, Penny, Lenny, Denny, and Mike are five fish who met at the fish store.
\nThey are fab friends.<\/p>\n

A little girl brought them home and plopped them into the tank:
\nPLOP PLOP PLOP PLOP PLOP<\/p>\n

FAB!<\/p>\n

The fish tank is like HEAVEN.
\nHenny loves the orange gravel.
\nPenny loves the diver.
\nLenny loves the rock.
\nDenny loves the pirate ship.
\nAnd Mike loves the bubbles.
\nNobody loves the snail, but that\u2019s okay.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There are a surprising number of adventures that happen in the lives of Henny, Penny, Lenny, Denny, and Mike. They hate Clean the Fish Tank Day \u2013 but are so excited and happy when the girl makes everything just sparkle.<\/p>\n

And then new fish enter the tank! And a new fairy castle! There\u2019s one little problem at the end, and we\u2019re all surprised by who saves the day.<\/p>\n

I just can\u2019t express enough how much fun this book is to read. I bet you can\u2019t read it and not smile. After all, fish tank life and this book are both SO FAB!<\/p>\n
