It\u2019s set in a compound in Africa where Lami lives.  The compound has lots of chickens, and Lami is the better than anyone at catching chickens.<\/p>\n<p>The language is lyrical and has drama and will engage kids\u2019 attention.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Lami leans!<br \/>\nLami lunges!<br \/>\nLami leaps!<br \/>\nAnd Lami catches her!<br \/>\nLami is the <strong>best<\/strong> chicken catcher in the village.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But one day, Lami is going a little too fast and a little too recklessly.  She chases a chicken up a baobab tree.  Then she slips and falls and sprains her ankle.
