This book includes comics for booklovers and writers and poets.<\/p>\n

You will enjoy this book if you can relate to the author\u2019s confession at the front:<\/p>\n

I\u2019m in love with books.
\nI read in social situations.
\nI will use anything<\/em> as a bookmark.
\nI confuse fiction with reality.
\nI am wanted for unpaid library fines.
\nI steal books from my children.
\nI like my realism with a little bit of magic.
\nI like to sniff old books.
\nI am searching for a miracle cure for writer\u2019s block.
\nI care about punctuation \u2013 a lot.
\nI will read the classics (someday).
\nI am writing The Great American Novel.
\nI carry a notebook with me at all times.
\nI write because I must.
\nI hope you don\u2019t mind me asking . . .

The author uses the items from his confession as section titles, giving the cartoons some themes.<\/p>\n

Most of the comics take the form of lists with pictures. For example \u201cAdvocacy for Animals Ignored by Children\u2019s Books\u201d includes a box with \u201cCan we get a couple cassowaries?\u201d with a picture of a couple cassowaries. \u201cPerfect Reading Spots\u201d has little pictures that go with each spot such as \u201cUnusual Tree\u201d and \u201cFrustrating Hammock.\u201d I like the \u201cCan You Spot the Difference?\u201d comic with an \u201cAspiring Writer\u201d on one side and a \u201cWriter\u201d on the other.<\/p>\n

Book lovers will find plenty to enjoy in this book.<\/p>\n
