But this book is especially good for a simple story of what it felt like for Amy to come out as transgender.  She was an adult when she did that, but she does talk about difficulty as a child being the boy she was expected to be.<\/p>\n<p>Fun fact:  I once tried out for Jeopardy!  That was when they went around the country doing in-person tests.  I didn&#8217;t get past the test phase.  Now they have the tests online, and it turns out, Amy Schneider didn&#8217;t pass her first online test either.  But she kept trying.<\/p>\n<p>This is a chapter book, written at a level for elementary school or middle school kids.
