Castles of Mad King Ludwig"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/sonderblessings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Neuschwanstein.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-35\" src=\"http:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/sonderblessings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Neuschwanstein-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Neuschwanstein\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/sonderblessings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Neuschwanstein-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sonderbooks.com\/sonderblessings\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Neuschwanstein.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Okay, I told myself when I restarted this blog that I will focus on being grateful for <strong>present<\/strong> blessings.\u00a0 However, this evening\u00a0I played the game &#8220;Castles of Mad King Ludwig&#8221; &#8212; and that reminded me of several things I love.<\/p>\n<p>First, I love playing games.\u00a0 And I love that I have people in my life who also love playing games and that we can get together now and then to do it.\u00a0 (These are different people than the regular Friday Night Gaming Group I was already thankful for.)<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s fun to win every now and then.\u00a0 And that particular game is fun even if you don&#8217;t win, because you get to build a &#8220;castle.&#8221;\u00a0 Which is a silly thing to be happy about, but it makes me happy.<\/p>\n<p>And of course that also reminded me how much I love castles, and how blessed I am that I got to visit 167 of them while I lived in Germany, including some Castles of Mad King Ludwig.<\/p>\n<p>It all just made me happy.\u00a0 I have had and continue to have a wonderful life, with plenty of rather silly blessings.\u00a0 Life is good.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay, I told myself when I restarted this blog that I will focus on being grateful for present blessings.\u00a0 However, this evening\u00a0I played the game &#8220;Castles of Mad King Ludwig&#8221; &#8212; and that reminded me of several things I love.
