***The Big Book of Knitting

My knitting buddy bought this book months ago and told me over and over
again how helpful it is, so I finally bought myself a copy. In only
two weeks, I’ve already referred to it for help making a buttonhole and
grafting the toe of a sock.
This is a wonderful knitting reference book. The instructions
are clear and easy to understand and the diagrams are large and readable.
I did have another knitting reference book, but this one is easier to follow.
The information includes almost anything you would want to know about knitting,
from basic techniques to perfect details and practical tips. There
are some basic patterns in the back. My one complaint is that several
of these patterns are only given in one size. Still, the information
about converting patterns can help you convert them to other sizes.
A helpful book for any knitter.
