I don't review books I don't like!

***Fodor's Exploring ScotlandReviewed July 29, 2003.Fodor’s Travel Publications, New York, 2003. 288 pages. Available at Sembach Library (914.11 FOD). I like the Fodor’s Exploring Guides much better than the usual Fodor’s Travel Guides, with their lack of photos. The Exploring Guide is similar to the Dorling Kindersley Guide or the Knopf Guide. It’s got the same abundance of photos, with highlights of interesting places. Its introductory section only covers 43 pages, but is also interesting and informative. I didn’t find myself reaching for this guide as much as the other two, but like the others it’s a beautiful book that is fun to browse through even after the trip is over. Now I can start planning for some day in the future when I have a chance to go back. Copyright © 2003 Sondra Eklund.
