**Secret Santa

by Robert Tate Miller and Beth Polson

Reviewed December 6, 2003.
Atria Books, New York, 2003.  151 pages.
Available at Sembach Library (F MIL)

Here’s a light and fluffy story for some quick holiday reading.

Rebecca Chandler wants to be taken seriously as a reporter.  She’s tired of writing fluffy feature articles, when she believes she could do some serious investigative reporting.  After a setback sours her view of Christmas, she decides to go after the big story of the year—Find out the identity of the Secret Santa of Hampton, Indiana, and unmask him.

At first, the job looks easy, but Secret Santa continues to elude her.  Meanwhile, her stay in Hampton teaches her a thing or two about the meaning of the season.  Her life will never be the same.

Reading this nice Christmas tale will help get you in the mood to celebrate a meaningful Christmas.
