A Sonderbooks’ Stand-out of 2003:
#3, Other Nonfiction
Everyone agrees that writing is lonely work. Here’s a book to let
writer’s know that they are not, in fact, alone. And any writer
will feel encouraged about his work after reading Snoopy’s enchantingly
bad efforts.
This book includes more than 180 Peanuts comic strips featuring
Snoopy’s writing. Interspersed between the comics are bits of
writing advice from over 30 well-known writers. The book is
set up to be the perfect gift for writers, and it is exactly that, sure
to bring a smile. Non-writers who are fans of Snoopy’s work will
also enjoy it. In fact, if you aren’t lucky enough to receive
this book as a gift, I suggest you do as I did and buy a copy for
yourself. Definitely a keeper!
